We’re excited to announce that Karen Ruby has joined Tango as our Chief People Officer. She brings more than 20 years of global human resources experience, having led HR teams for companies at all stages of growth—from private and pre-IPO companies to some of the world’s largest and most successful corporations including both Amazon and Microsoft.
“The breadth and depth of Karen’s knowledge was so immediately striking that I knew right away we’d found our Chief People Officer,” said Jason Silverstein, President of Tango. “She brings hands-on experience and strategic oversight that are critical to our high-growth company—and her transparency, accountability and can-do attitude are a perfect fit for our company culture.”
Before joining Tango, Karen ran her own HR consulting practice, where she helped clients with talent management, employee engagement strategies, DEI, frameworks for data-driven decision making, change management, communication planning and scaling for growth. In addition to her prior roles at Amazon and Microsoft, she also previously served as CHRO for Fanatics and was an HR leader at JPMorgan Chase and at Dell.
